WHAT SHOULD I BE DOING INSTEAD OF THIS?

Preview: Incredulity

By Rodger Pille · May 26th, 2009 · Fringe

It wouldn’t be a Fringe without some improv, arguably the fringiest of all theatrical endeavors.

Performers have no script to act as their safety net. They put themselves out there, and producer Dave Powell is quick to point out that they can and do occasionally fail.

Don’t believe it? Don’t be so incredulous, he says.

Performed by the aptly named local troupe The Incredulities, the show is an exercise in long-form improv. That means they get fewer audience suggestions up front and then let the whole piece ride on them. (So if you’re suggesting, make it good, OK?)

Performed at Media Bridges May 30 and June 3-5 (see map of Fringe venues here)
