Preview: Terrorism of Everyday Life

By Jane Durrell · May 26th, 2009 · Fringe

Forget terrorism as a global threat. This show shines a light on close-to-home stuff through music, standup comedy and social commentary from a guy who’s seen a lot as a journeyman musician and close observer of the human race.

Ed Hamell regularly tours his one-man show, Hamell on Trial, but has taken part in only one other Fringe Festival — the Edinburgh Fringe, where it was a solid hit.

He likes the fact that as a solo performer he can write a song and perform it that night. His wicked take on the daily grind is sharp, on the mark and funny to boot.

Read Brian Baker's interview with Hamell here.

Performed at Know Theatre May 27-30 (see map of Fringe venues here)
