Anyone who complains live music is dead in Cincinnati hasn’t been to Fountain Square in the summer. A diverse and exciting musical menu is presented just about every day of the week. This year, Fountain Square is adding international music to the mix. They will be featuring outstanding and often undiscovered local groups performing music and dance from around the globe as part of their World Wide Wednesday series.

The season continues through Sept. 9 with many amazing ensembles, including high-profile internationally touring groups like Luminescent Orchestrii (Klezmer Rock on July 22) and Kinobe with Soulbeat Africa (Ugandan Afrobeat on Aug. 26). A full roster of Fountain Square’s musical offerings includes Southern Sounds, World Wide Wednesdays, Acoustic Thursdays, Salsa on the Square, Midpoint’s Indie Summer, Singer/Songwriter Open Mics and Gospel and Smooth Sundays. Free. Get details here.
