In times of economic struggle it’s important for people to come together at some place they can call the heart of their community. And what better place to organize than the neighborhood tavern? Known for its homey atmosphere, Northside Tavern has been hailed one of Cincinnati’s best supporters of local music, featuring some of the most stellar bands in the area every day of the week. But helping to build a solid local music scene isn't the only impact that this neighborhood tavern has on the Northside artist community.
Northside Tavern hosts “Project Northside” Saturday to showcase the work of local boutiques and designers, including Ali’s Boutique, Avant Garage, the Mustard Seed Boutique, Pangaea, NVision, Suki and several other shops that almost any Northside local is sure to have seen on the Hamilton strip. The event will also feature work by Shoetopia and Pinnokios, along with Rock performances by The Pack A.D. and Fists of Love. Designs will be available the night of the event.
The fashion show lasts 7-10 p.m. followed by musical performances beginning at 10:30. Get details here.
