Steven Dietz’s The Nina Variations is a funny and poignant study on the final scene of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull, giving star-crossed lovers Nina and Treplev a chance to create a different ending to their story by repeating the play's famous final scene 43 different ways. As the two young artists confront each other again and again, their wit, passion and stubbornness create a fascinating study of romantic love and all its possibilities.

The Nina Variations is being presented concurrently with Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's production of The Seagull on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, featuring the Cincinnati Playhouse’s acting intern company.

Through Feb. 9. Tickets are $12-$15. Get more details here.
