As the CEO of Game Day Public Relations, Jackie Reau promotes hip local events like the Flying Pig Marathon, the Downtown Tour of Living and Jeff Ruby’s joint venture restaurant with Bootsy Collins. She has an ongoing and intense love affair with Cincinnati and says it’s an exciting time to live in the Queen City.

Q: What’s the coolest thing about you?
Reau: Probably my job. It’s a labor of love. I get to work with really good people who are doing really cool things for our region. I get to go to sporting or musical events and get to be right up front or back stage.

Q: What’s the coolest event you’ve ever promoted?
Reau: The auction of assets for the Stardust Casino in Las Vegas.

It was imploded a year and a half ago. Just the history of the casino was amazing. It was the stage where Elvis made his debut in Vegas. It was a celebration but a very emotional celebration.

Q: Who’s the coolest person you know?
Reau: I’m thinking about Bootsy (Collins) and Jeff (Ruby) together as cool. Jeff because of his understatement and the way he focuses on quality. And Bootsy represents cool in Cincinnati. Working with them, it’s a very creative discussion. It’s a very engaging dialogue.

GAME DAY currently is helping to promote this weekend’s Oktoberfest Zinzinnati

Downtown. Read more about the events Reau boosts at www.gamedaypr.com/blog.
