Following the Mush Records tour from earlier this year (which featured some of the same performers), members of the anticon experimental Hip Hop collective will see if they can once again pack the Southgate House on a normally off-night. Headlining the night is themselves, which features rapper/poet oddball and former Cincinnatian doseone (also known for his work with cLOUDDEAD and Boom Bip) and rhythm-man jel. The duo is supporting their most recent effort, The No Music. Also on the bill is fellow anticon member alias, whose sample-heavy latest is The Other Side of the Looking Glass. Hip Hop fans who have kept the faith that the music hasn't gone as far as possible will definitely want to lay witness to this unique live experience.
At the Southgate House on Monday.
