GARBRIEL YACOUB -- Yacoub came to fame in the '70s as a founder of Malicorne, a popular French "Trad Rock" band that fused Folk and traditional French music into a more contemporary presentation. Influenced by U.S. folkies like Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie, the singer/guitarist eventually went solo and flirted with an electric Folk/Rock sound before eventually returning to his acoustic roots.
