Superdrag

You can witness Pop/Rock at it's most effective on Sunday, as Knoxville-based Superdrag return to the area for a show with pals The Anniversary (the two bands are also working on releasing a split EP on Vagrant Records, but no release date is set). Superdrag have kept busy since their appearance in Newport at last year's Popopolis festival, touring Japan, playing shows with everyone from NOFX to Big Star and starting work on their fourth full-length album, due sometime next year. To tide fans over, Arena Rock Records has put out a limited quantity of the band's Greetings From Tennessee, a 10-song "unofficial" release featuring new songs, re-recorded faves and covers of songs by The Replacements and The Kinks.

At Bogart's on Sunday.
