Concerts TWIZTID WITH SHUVEL, MASTAMIND AND MR. REALIST -- Hey Juggalos. Don't put away that face-paint from the Insane Clown Posse show last month just yet. For those not yet down with the clowns, Twiztid is a couple of ICP proteges whose new CD, Freek Show, is almost indiscernable from most of their mentor's raw, graphic Hip Hop. But if ICP's live show is similar to Twiztid's, this show will be a surealistic blast. Opener Mastamind is a Hardcore Rap artist whose group, NATAS, is often credited with strongly influencing the now-huge Detroit Rap scene. Shuvel (supporting their debut Set It Off) are a new Rap/Rock group that should appeal to fans of Rage Against the Machine and Korn, with aggressive rhyming, heavy crunching and tons of "rrrhhhwwwhhaaa!"-type singing. Basically, this show has everything a 16-year-old rebellious outcast could ever desire from a concert, short of the real deals. 8 p.m. Friday. Bogart's, 2621 Vine St., Corryville. $15. 513-562-4949.
BARENAKED LADIES -- Rock. 8 p.m. Sunday. Nutter Center, Wright State University, Dayton. $36.50-$26.50. 513-562-4949.

SOUTHGATE HOUSE (PARLOR) -- Delta 88 are an excellent, soulfully refined trio from Ann Arbor, Mich., who paint a different picture of Roots music by mining the soul of classic Folk and Country instead of painting a "yee-haw" caricature. The band's self-titled album is an exceptional acoustic effort, showcasing the wonderfully melodic sensibilities of singer/songwriter Danny Kline. With a very minimal, nearly simple presentation the group is able to convey songs that ring with the timelessness of the greats who've influenced them. If they can convey the kind of hushed resilience they exhibit on their debut live, this show should be amazing. Roots. Cover.
