LEE KONITZ AND FRANK KIMBROUGH - Watching that omnipresent JAZZ and itching to see one of the true-blue originals. Well, here's your chance to see a real Jazz legend, live and in the flesh. Konitz played with Miles Davis (Birth of Cool era), Stan Kenton and Gerry Mulligan, before forming his own groups in the '50s. Konitz specialty is improvisation, a skill he is so apt at that the New York Times called him "as original a players as there is in Jazz." Konitz is joined by pianist Frank Kimbrough, who was a founder of the Jazz Composer Collective and is also praised for his keen improv skills. 8 p.m. Saturday.
