We can't list everything planned for the next year, but we can pick out some goodies we doubt you'll want to miss. One is THE RETURN OF TODT to the Weston Art Gallery from November through January. Nothing stops this group. After being thoroughly slammed by The New Yorker for their appearance in the Venice Biennale a few years back, the three-member Todt is bouncing back with "their ongoing explorations of objects and systems that reveal the psychological and metaphorical expressions of human behavior." Don'tcha just love press releases?

Remember Toi? That's TOI UNGKAVATANAPONG, who studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy, exhibited nearly every place in Cincinnati, including the Contemporary Arts Center, and then returned to Thailand, much to the dismay of his faithful audience. He'll return to install a clothing store on the upper level of the Weston Gallery in June 2001. There will be a salesperson and artist-designed clothing making "virtuous" statements. Toi has never disappointed his followers, so expect the best.

THE WARSAW PROJECT SPACE has sent out a provocative listing for this fall. Opening Friday evening are Stephen Fritsch's "Untitled Signs," followed by "Only A Season," paintings by Paige Williams. This gallery makes a career of contemporary shows, different but good. The artists have all made a splash in town in a variety of ways and proved their mettle. A good place to keep up with the fast-moving Cincinnati art scene. Info: 513-652-2349

THE TAFT MUSEUM OF ART announced recently that the conservation of the Robert Scott Duncanson murals in the center hallway is officially completed. They glow as they did prior to the Civil War, when the house was occupied by Nicholas Longworth, thanks to the devoted work of conservator, HELEN MAR PARKIN, as an historic bridge uniting ages and socioeconomic backgrounds in a love of art. However, visitors may notice a tiny trompe l'oeil piece of frame hanging, unattached, high up near a doorway as a reminder of more to come. Info: 513-241-0343

Lift that pinky. It's silver time again at the CINCINNATI ART MUSEUM. The Best Part of Waking Up: The Folger's Coffee Silver Collection opens this weekend. Info: 513-721-2787.
