Bringin' it back from Mexico
A new restaurant has opened on Main Street. Viva! Restaurante, an authentic Mexican eatery. Stop by for a variety of nachos, quesadillas, the homemade Guacamole Viva! and Alitas de Pollo. This week happy hour features the music of Willie Ray and the Midnighters and later in the evening you can shake your nachos to the sounds of DJs Tino and Willie D. 1345 Main St. Downtown. 513-579-1900.

The Denver-based chain Chipotle Mexican Grill opened its first Cincinnati location on March 31. Fresh gourmet Mexican food is the restaurant's niche, and they back it up with the claim that you'll find no freezers, microwaves or can openers on the premises. 8154 Montgomery Road. 513-936-9188.

Crustacean sensation
A new seafood spot, Crab N' Creations, recently opened in Covington, Ky. The restaurant offers a variety of briny entrées, including New Zealand Orange Roughy, Hawaiian Mahi Mahi, Maine Lobster, Shrimp Cantonese Lo Mein and, of course, Frog Legs (tastes like rattlesnake, or is it chicken?). 433 Johnson St. 606-491-9888.

Add some Un-Yun to your day
Copeland's promises to bring a little Cajun spice to Ohio, when the famous New Orleans restaurant and bar opens in Mason on April 23. Copeland's will have all of your Cajun favorites, including Po-Boys, Shrimp Etoufée and Gumbo Ya Ya. 5150 Merten Drive, at 71 and Mason-Montgomery Road. 513-336-0043.

Le Sacre du Printemps
Spring is here and so it's time to get outside and eat. Rock Bottom Brewery is leading the charge with its open patio on Fountain Square, Downtown. 513-621-1588.

Mush! Mush! Smoothies are back at Baba Budan's Espresso Bar. 243 Calhoun St., Clifton Heights. 513-221-1911.
