Long Live the King
Congratulations to Maisonette for its continued reign as America's longest running five-star restaurant. Recently the French food guys were awarded their 36th consecutive Mobil Travel Guide Five-Star award, a feat not even Big Boy can match. To give you an idea of the award's prestige, of all the restaurants and lodgings rated by the Mobil Travel Guide, less than 2.5 percent receive the coveted Five-Star ranking. 114 E. Sixth St. Downtown. 513-287-7782.

The Restaurant Formerly Known As ...
The River Galley has changed its name to Shanty's Steak & Fish. The California eatery has a new decor, and the recent addition of chefs Kevin Kangas and Douglas Caudill has brought some new options for meat-and-potato appetites. As always, still plenty of seafood dishes. 5959 Kellogg Ave. 231-2312. ... Mancino's is also now operating under a different moniker. The restaurant which first opened in 1996 in Edgewood, Ky., has changed its name to Garzelli's Grinder & Pizza Co. With Kentucky locations in Edgewood and Florence, Garzelli's has also just opened its first Ohio location in Withamsville. 637 Ohio Pike. 513-947-9000.

Eat! Fight Cancer!
Teller's in Hyde Park has closed for a few days to transform its decor, change the menu and enhance the beer and wine selection. But the popular restaurant will be back on Feb. 5 with a grand reopening celebration. The $75 per person cost covers all appetizers, four drinks and dinner. Also on hand will be Cincinnati writer Marc Marsan, author of Who Are You When Nobody Is Looking? There will be two dinner seatings: 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. 2710 Erie Ave. Call 513-321-5888 for reservations.
